Youth Services (YS)
About
Youth Services (YS) provides a safe place during the critical hours after school for students in grades 2nd through 5th at no cost to families. Students who drop in are provided with supervised and organized games and activities in a safe environment. Youth Services is a permissive program. Students sign in and leave the program at their own will. Students are expected to abide by all rules and conduct themselves in an appropriate manner. If students become disruptive, they may lose the opportunity of participating in the program.
The program emphasizes on supervised enrichment and physical activity. Students are provided with a daily homework time where they are given a designated place and time to work on their homework. Staff members help students stay focused and ensure that homework is ready for parents/guardians to review with their children.
